Welcome to this place stranger! Pull up a chair close to the fire, drink something that will warm and cheer you. Let me tell you what you will find here before you venture further.
This is a guild of people from the four corners of the earth, brought together
in their search for intelligent conversation, discussion, the occasional arguement,
and to aid and support each other with information and friendship.
The topics discussed here range from such petty things as world domination,
to the deep meanings of life embodied in the omnipotent '42'. You may find wizards
throwing curses about during a particualrly heated moment, or hampsters curled
up in the guild cauldron, or people sipping a virtual ale in the corners. Such
is everyday life in this guild.
What you won't find are giveaways, or freebies. We don't waste time or sympathy
on those weaklings looking for a free ride.
If you are brave enough to walk your own path, wise enough to listen to advice,

After spending 48 hours in the hospital waiting for my lifemate to be set free,
my brain is a TAD on the overwhelmed side, but I shall try to do us justice
with my thoughts...ok, brain, here we go...
Escaping reality, a site comes across, now what is a neopet seems the first
thought.
Then playing games, and random chat comes to mind, and someone says join here,
great riches to find...
Well, virtual riches dont interest me much, but a place to unwind, with a wizard
like touch...
Now that has me looking, and what did I find...a group of adults with the same
search in mind!
We ponder life's mysteries, thinking aloud, we discuss, laugh and ponder, all
one of the crowd...
A group of far reaching, yet close when online, this Guild has the making of
one of a kind...

Ah heck! I didn't win and I am such a poor loser! I shall go slink into a dark
corner and investigate the benefits of drinking much bitter ale, saki, and certainly
all the vodka I can find. When I am properly tanked I shall roam through the
hallways shouting 'Favoritism!!" and 'No one understands artistic genius
such as mine!!'. I may end the day by throwing myself out the basement window.
I feel a little beter when I consider Alombar having to wait patiently while
my whole gallery loads in order to find that omelette I am suppossed to post
though. (grinning evilly and cackling). Please don't tell him that I am not
going to post one!! If however anyone hears that he is considering laying some
ancient Greecian curse upon my hapless old head, please infom me ASAP.

Thank you cutup for your understanding of the artisic temperment. It was a desolate
day for me,when I lost the contest, I lost all that was worth living for. I
drank freely of all the ale, vodka and saki I could find, (all I really found
was a small glass of almond sherry,unfortunatly). I thought deeply and profoundly
about the injustices of life, and finally decided it was time to throw myself
bodily our of a basement window. That would have been easier if those windows
were big enuf to allow me to do so. Could someone plese see what could be done
to enlarge the basement windows to the point I can use one to make a dramtic,
if pointless, statement, by exiting through one of them?

My I sugest who ever enlarges the basment windows also install small foam matts.
This will keep all those who feel the need for a dramatic plunge dry, clean,
and somewhat cushioned.

Well, today I seem to have healed from yesterdays tragic loss of the contest.
I do hope ya know I was joking Laurie, one has to do something around this guild
to get a little attention. So many bright intelligent ppl here that those of
us who are lacking in any real skills must act in a dramatic fashion in order
to be noticed at all.
I prefered your poem too, so lets be friends - and now lets get back to that
vodka!!

Thank you alombar for the card in lieu of the non-posted omelette. I am glad
you did not become impatient with my slow loading gallery and Clam me for it.
I hope Twinkles will take pity on you and give you a robe to wear, at least
for those times when you want to look impressive. Running around inside the
guild hall in the buff is perfectly acceptable behavior for a grand wizard,
but I am prety sure it would attract unfavorable attention from the neighbours
if you threw yourself out a basement window in that condition.
I propose a rule against anyone being allowed to exit the basement windows unless
they are properly attired. All agree?
